Tile and Stone Cleaning, Sealing and Grouting

Honing Marble Floors & Lippage Removal

If your stone surface contains tiles that are even, (this is called lippage), those uneven tiles detract from the value of your home and can be a safety hazard if these tiles are on your floor. We fix lippage through by grinding your stone with a diamond disk. This disk sands down the edges of your stone to leave a beautiful smooth and safe surface. We also use grinding to remove deeply scratch or stained stone. Once your stone is ground, we employ a process called honing which further sands your surface in finer detail so that it can be polished.
